Now take a ES 2 range chart and put a Keltner channel on it. When price exceeds a certain value of the ATR, the system issues an entry signal towards the middle of the channel in hopes price will revert to the mean (hence the strategy name). Exit when price hits the opposite channel.
As most of us know, price does not always reverse at the Keltner channel - the system gets killed on a strong trend day.
I got a call from an eministrategies sales man and looked at their site. I watched a couple of videos. I think I recognized Murrey Math lines on their chart and a simple oscillator. They are charging for this stuff hoping someone with no experience comes by and buys it I suppose. Then, I got a couple of charts from them and compared thier entries to my chart. Their entries were crude to me. I'd say my trading system, using Nexgen combined with New Futures Trading ideas, is far better. I went to the Nexgen site this week and see that their indictors are now at a reduced price of just under $5,000. I'm shocked they went that low. I think your money would be better spent with Nexgen at this price. I paid three times that and I still think I got value.

I get emails every once in a while from this vendor. They charge a lot of money for use of their indicators, over 9000 for both I believe. They claim that the indicators they use are not lagging and are proprietary. I know a couple of you have offered theories as to what the indicators are, so I thought I'd post a picture of the 'reversion strategy.' I am not a client of eministrategies, and the snapshot below is from one of the videos posted on the eministrategies website. Does anyone recognize the indicators?
Attached are 6 screenshots for the strategy running in realtime with AMP CQG feed covering 24 hours
Results after commissions: +$582.5
I put the down payment and making monthly payments now and wanted to share with everybody the results
And no, I didn't get paid by them and don't think they'll even like me posting here but I just like to show the strategy here for everybody to see
if you are experiencing completely different results live versus sim then imo their strategy is very flawed. They should have the same trades with the exception of slippage. When I see that sort of behavior I see it as a bad design.
