ATW DPTL in automated trading strategy

I want to use the indicator DPTL in automated trading strategy (Ninja trader).

In wizards list indicators do not include DPTL

I don't know what ATW DPTL is, but if it's a commercial indicator, not all commercial indicators are made visible for use in strategies by default.

I don't know what ATW DPTL is, but if it's a commercial indicator, not all commercial indicators are made visible for use in strategies by default.

I used to be a member of the ATW (waste of money by the way). Anyways, the DPTL stands for Dual Pivot Trend Line. To create a DPTL you need to have at least two overlapping pivots. I've attached a picture to make it a little clearer.

Thanks, I added DPTL to the acronym exploder. I use pivots in my trading, I'll have to research this more

I've tried to google "Dual Pivot Trend Line" but it gave no results. Could you explain in a few words the algorithm of calculating these levels?

Accumulator,

I'm not really a programmer so I can't help you there. I have a video that the DPTL is explained how to create them and use them in trading. Correction on the DPTL meaning, I think it is dual purpose trend line, not dual pivot trend line. The name has changed over time.

Hope it helps, I would love to see someone make a DPTL indicator for ninjatrader.
