I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Over the last couple of weeks on most days NT will lose a connection at least 3 - 5 times a day. Today it reached a head by disconnecting and re-connecting numerous times.
What is confusing to me is that I STILL have a connection to the internet. I can surf any website and connect to my email via Thunderbird.
The folks at NT say that this has nothing to do with them and suggested that I call my ISP and broker to troubleshoot the problem. I am not a techie. Is there ANYONE who can hold my hand and tell me what I need to do to ensure more stability with Ninja Trader? Thanks for your consideration.
Best Regards
Chuck
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Can you clarify for me what you mean by "exempt from ninjatrader"? Are you talking about the trace files that are found in the documents/NinjaTrader 7/trace directory?
Another vote for not an issue with NT. I've experienced the same thing from time to time, the cause always the provider, the wiring or the equipment between me and the provider or the operating environment.
Thx. I went for a walk and have been sitting at the computer for a couple of hours now. Wouldn't you know it....no connection problems. So I attached the trace file from today. I had numerous disconnects in the 9 - 10:30 time frame or so. I hope this is sufficient. If not, I'll wait a while longer and see if it happens again, at which time I'll post the trace file. Thanks!
