Thanks for your input Mike. I did start with a clean chart, absolutely no indicators and then got the error regardless of which indicator I put on the chart. I did finally resolve the problem.
I chose a random indicator and then went through edit, rightclick >references. In the references I looked for any references to the last indicator that I deleted. I found such a reference and deleted that dll. I then compiled a random indicator without any issues and that seemed to resolve the problem.
I`m not sure why I wasn`t getting the error right after deleting the indicator but maybe it`s because I was loading workspaces that never included that indicator to begin with. I`m just glad I figured it out and didn`t have to re-install.
