I'm using a really, really, really good indicator for TOS which I'd like to convert to ninjascript and use in an automated strategy. Unfortunately, I only speak thinkscript so if anyone is willing to do this, I think we'll both be very happy with the outcome. My current success rate with this strategy is 85 - 90%. Please reply if interested and I'll email my TOS code.
Thanks in advance,
Dave

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
On the advice of a fellow trader, I installed SuperTrend and played around with the inputs (3, VMA, 1.23, 3, ATR). It's a pretty dead on match for what I'm using on TOS. I would post a chart but it's asking me for a URL and I'm barely capable of shutting down properly...
Give this a whirl on the 1600 tick (or chart of your choosing - I'll be testing many, now that I can), remembering to only enter if the 20k vol Double MA (5 HMA, 45 VMA) agrees.
Thanks for showing interest. If I have another update, I'll be certain to post.
Thanks a lot. Is it possible for you to post the script of tos? Can you post an immage to explain better? To do this you can clic on Insert Immage icon. Which time frame do you use and where do yuo have better results? (futures?)
Bye
I'd love to post a pic (especially since I did really well today) but as previously stated, the insert image icon is asking me for a URL. If you can show me how to just upload what I have directly, I'd be more than happy to.
I'm using this on the 1600 Tick chart and I ONLY trade the ES.
Hi Ds,
I use both TOS and Ninja - has been quite a slow and tedious process helping to prod TOS into their Active Trader releases over the past year. They keep improving but it's frustrating when you compare their thinkscript with ninjascript for example. (Or when they come out with a "whistles & bells" upgrade when we need basic tools like range bars, volume bars, user defined tick bars, etc. Anyway, I've coded several indies for both TOS and Ninja and will be glad to help if I can. Good trading.
The first process is to paste/save your screen shot/image on a folder (e. g. Desktop, My Documents, etc). Then go through the normal process of posting, then you'll see the "Manage Attachments" link (see attached snapshot) in the "Additional Options" pane. Click on the "Manage Attachments" link to choose where you must have pasted/saved your screen snapshot file, then click on "Upload".
On the other you can attach your template (which is already in the "My Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\templatesChart" folder, using the same process of "Manage Attachments".
lolu - Thanks for the directions. Big Mike, since I see you checked out this thread, thank you very, very much for these indicators. This is yesterday's 1600 tick ES chart. Since I scalp, yesterday I was 100%. I've received several PMs telling me it's next to impossible to write a strat that enters when these two indicators agree. I don't understand why but maybe this pic will give someone an idea of which I haven't yet thought.
Okay, since TSSupertrend apparently hates me, I tried ATR Trailing instead, for now. I came up with the following, which compiles, but doesn't seem to work how it should:
