Thanks for feedback. Animation is very fast for me, perhaps it's dependant on CPU speed. I'll investigate.
It shows once period (per webinar), not once per session (I define session as a log in session duration). Also only shows if you've not already registered for the event to begin with, like via our newsletter.
I'll look into adding a way to exclude the popups for those who have no interest in the webinars.
Just checked again and do see you are registered. Let me check as to why this may have happened. It could be you used a different browser/computer/phone to register for the event?
I forwarded the email. It was received from [email protected]
When I got the announcement in my email from [email protected] I just clicked on the 'register now' embedded in the email.
The link to the webinar (above) does not show I am registered.
I clicked the email link (just now again) when I refresh the webinar page it now shows I'm registered.
So seems something went wrong earlier this afternoon.

A while back we improved registration to a single click -- no need to input anything.
OK, so I added some more improvements to the popup stuff, and now it should not show the popup even if you registered for the event on a different computer. It's based on db entries and not cookies. I'll convert some of the other remaining components where the site displays if you are already registered to the same method as I have a bit more time this week.
not a fan of the new change, would be great to have an option to opt out of them, or make them a temporary popup in the bottom right corner of the browser or similar. It just feels way too much like a popup advert of old, naggy :/ , and It feels kind of strange that this would take up the majority of the screen.
