@FT71 said in his trader's bit today that it was open to the public, not for Elite members only. So it must be a bug.

Correct. Like most webinars, it is Elite only.

If you are a member of Dr Brett or Morad's audience, they have a special link code that will enable access for you.

Just a follow-up, the webinar is now open to all (not Elite) due to today's confusion with the new webinar system.

Hi guys,

OK, wow. Everything was fine last night when I went to bed. Today, I leisurely drank my coffee and chatted with my wife on the sofa.

Then I made it to my desk, and --- uhm. Ouch.

Let me make this post so I can point everyone to it:

- This is a new framework and new system we've created
- We've used the old system for more than 10 years, and perfected it
- New system is far more powerful, and being actively designed
- We tested, tested, tested, didn't run into these issues

- Most people experienced one of these two problems today:
--> One, new FIO user: created FIO account. Clicked webinars, told Elite only.
--> or Two, existing FIO user, tried to register for webinar, told registration was disabled.

Understand that when presenters come do webinars, we give special codes to them to bypass Elite on our side, but only for their existing audience that are members of their systems. For item one above, the process made it hard to understand this for many, resulting in confusion and error messages. We will resolve this prior to the next event.

Shane @Rrrracer did his best to solve problems as tweets and emails started pouring in. I did not train him on this type of issue, so it is not his fault.

Bottom line:
You must register for the webinar using FIO's system. You **cannot** use Zoom's, it won't work.

If anyone couldn't get in prior to right now, I am letting you know that now you can. I went ahead and opened up this webinar to everyone instead of the normal Elite only.

Mike, I was just replying to a post and I wanted to put in a smily. I went looking for one to pick, and I found the popup extremely user-unfriendly and harder to use than the old list that used to be there at the bottom.

I know that I am a serial abuser of smilies (I was going to put in the one with the big toothy grin in this sentence, right here, but it's too big a pain in the ass to look for it now), but I strongly ask that you put it back as it was.

The editor is simpler now, but not as easy to use. At least for me. (I know how to put in this basic smily face by typing, and it isn't worth it to look for another.)

Please help smily addicts by restoring the old functionality. I am facing withdrawal symptoms already. (I remembered how to type this one now, too. I'm not likely to use the popup much.)

OK, let me see what I can do

I can just make the smiley icon on the editor toolbar trigger to "unhide" the box at the bottom of the editor. But I need some time to code that, and today there are other things going on

Not sure if this is working correctly - when I click on the link the message I receive tells me I am not an Elite member and then redirects me to this page??
