Why promote a natural and active lifestyle that promotes the generation of endorphins and dopamine (and one that may promote neurogenesis and and synaptic well being) when you can drug yourself....

The affect on natural endorphin and dopamine on cells with Parkinsons is well known. The effect on cell aging and re-wiring is less established (but becoming more prevalent)

I was prescribed Modafinil a little over a year ago as an alternative way to deal with my attention deficit and rebuild my tolerance to adderall. The best way I can think of to describe it would be like a steady IV drip of caffeine. You are awake and alert, but not necessarily focused.

After about two weeks I switched back to adderall. If your fuel needs fire, tried and true habit forming stimulants will rarely let you down.

I just want to be clear: I'm not promoting the use of this drug or any other drug for that matter. I would not use it nor do I recommend anybody do so. I just thought it was interesting that it's en vogue among some in the Wall St. community.

I wouldn't want to take anything that might tweak my brain like that and would defer to more natural, healthy remedies to increase awareness.

BTW, my father suffers from Parkinsons...

How many milligrams/day would you recommend I take shodson?

EDIT: I was poking fun at the drug. Just read about your father though.
I'm sorry to hear that. I understand it's very tough.

I am actually thinking of trying it I have ADHD and the extra brainpower would be a nice side effect. Doesn't have the upper type side effects like Ritalin

Hi !

Thanks for your post. How much is the value of drug that make you willing to exercise. If the drug help you to focus on things that make you stronger than to focus on other things that make you weaker. Is it interesting to use ?

Regards,
P.
