I have two off MacBooks that I use as PCs using BootCamp. I have had both Macs on service due to disk crashes. When I got them back, there is no sound on the Widows side of the computers, except from the sound that plays off when the computer is turned on. Apple Store are not able to help (they say it's a Windows error). And Microsoft say it is an Apple issue (even though I do have sound on the Mac side) since it is a Mac.

I get no error messages on sound drivers. The sound works with headset. Anybody out there who have had the same problem but got it resolved? I have also lost the light in the keyboard and the possibility to adjust the screen light. The key combination Ctrl+Al+Del is also out of function.

dont know much but if you google the model with downloads there should be a sound or audio program that may be damaged that you can download free from aapl for your specific pc
