I am planning on starting a Trade Journal for the benefit of Elite Members on Big Mikes. Been trading since 1999 and want to record an introduction to my journal and upload it on my yet to be created NexusFi (formerly BMT) trade journal. Is there a specific file format to use for audio files. I was just planning on using the basic windows 7 sound recorder. Any advise would be appreciated.

If you are doing audio only, just use MP3 format. You will have to ZIP it before uploading as the forum doesn't support MP3's.

If you proceed, you would be the first person to do an audio journal. Most people are doing video journals, in which case you can use MP4 or FLV file format for the video attachment. A video journal has video+audio.

Posting YouTube video links with the setting that those can only view who have the link?
