Hi!
Is there an indicator which could split the classic volume indicator into bid and ask volume?
I need nothing fancy really, just for the 2 type of volumes to be shown separately.
Thanks,

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I felt that we needed a thread dedicated to the discussion of Volume Profile.
Some basics, you can hover over these and click on most of them to get more info in the wiki. I also encourage you guys to improve the wiki articles by editing …

One of my worst enemies are my own false assumptions
The GOMI Delta Volume indicator might help and shows bid/ask volume in different ways. I found it a useful replacement for standard volume indicator for identifying accumulation or distribution activity but sadly, like anything else, it is not reliable enough for that! Algos are far too clever. Back to clean chart.
I was running standard volume and Gomi DV together for best results.
Hope that helps.
PS. Sorry no link... I can never find stuff in the downloads section. Not sure why.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it measuring the difference between the bid and the ask volume? (hence the name, delta) I need the raw numbers (in a histogram) / minute.
Thanks Mike, now I know how to search for attachments... any recommendations which GomVolumeDelta to use since there are so many versions? Which one do you use?
