to trade the CT, S, ZW, ZC, ZS , LB, LE, OJ, etc...

I haven't traded in these types of commodities yet, but I am interested in them, and have recently been looking at their charts via different timeframes.

Can someone please tell me what the required Day trade margin(s) are to trade these various Commodities , as well as what each .01 , ,10 , $1 move in the various commodities, equates to, in terms of profit/loss ?
Example, a 1 tick move on the ES = $12.50 , so what would a 1 tick ( .10 cent move in Cotton be worth ) to me as a trader, trading cotton ( CT ) ?

Thanks much for the help

P.S. If someone has a Link to a site that simplifies and breaks down what I'm looking for, please post/attatch it.
I really appreciate it

You can find all product and contract specifications as well as tick size and margin requirements by starting out here:

Your broker can give you the best info on day margins.

I would add that while minimum overnight margin requirements are set by the exchange, you will find different brokers have very different day trading margin requirements.

Thank you for the input and information

Daytrader999.... great link to the CME ( lots of good information on the various symbols and their contracts )

I'm about to call TorS and see what the average daily margin is to daytrade these, as well as overnight margin requirements.

I'm likely going to have to close all positions at the end of the day, as I'm sure the overnight margins are quite substantial
