Since the wonder-full folks over at TOS -- Think or Swim decided to consolidate (yeah right) one of their chat rooms I would like some information on commodity chat. I am interested in grains - specifically Soybeans /ZS - would anyone or more than one have suggestions for a chat room that deals with this type of information for trading. TOS-s consolidation moved Commodity Cast into Market Case. The topics are /ES, /YM, /TF, & /NQ of course! Are these commodities? I asked and tried to explain that this information was already in the "Shadow Trader room" (in TOS chat) if I wanted that type of information....Anyway thanks for any replies...

Yes, I was thinking about the same for wheat ZW a chatroom of some sort Where as traders come together and discuss ZW trading. Set-ups, indicators, chart patterns, risk ,and mindset.
That is the only commodity I trade.

Thank You
God Bless

Yes, I only trade wheat due to account size (money management rules) sure I know how beans, and corn can effect wheat with price swings. I trade wheat looking at tick charts intraday what I have notice there are about 3 -4 good trend patterns in a week.
One of the main areas one has to work on is getting whipsawed to death that can be a account drainer if not careful.
A while back that was really getting me until I started using multi chart it can still happen, but not as much.

God Bless
Good Trading to You
Thank You

As a crop farmer of a couple hundred acres +/- I have used the excuse that I needed to see where the markets were going to keep my futures trading hopes alive for several years and have watched them along with ZW, CL and commodity's in general. I would be greatly interested in Live discussion threads for each product.

ZC has a lot more volume and less volatility than it did a few years ago. I remember when I started trading I was still doing some construction contracting on the side and one day TOS had a glitch in their margin program. They sent out an alert saying even though the platform will let you don't use more margin than usual this will be fixed by end of the day. I lost $1600 that day in corn as I leveraged up and stepped away to make $80 putting trim up in an office building. LOL so foolish.

ZS just looks to light on volume for my short term trading mindset. I would be interested to hear how other traders trade it though short term or long term.

ZW I pay less attention to as my local market is very poor for wheat. Corn and Beans are what pays around here so that's where my focus has been.

Thanks for starting the thread, maybe we can get some good discussion here!
