Does anyone know of a good web-based trading platform? I'm looking for one that has a Dom and can be used to scalp trade. I know it's not the optimal solution but I'm just curious if such a thing even exits.
Thanks for the help

Hi,
I use "rcgdirect.com" as a platform which has the option to be web based. I have never tried the web version, but they are the clearing house for Global Futures, and do a good job for the money.
Interactive Brokers has a web trader, but I have never used it. I just tried to log in, but it wouldn't let me have two connections on the same account. I will check it out tomorrow and let you know how it compares to their java system. In the java version, the dom is pretty good, but everything else is really pretty crap. I paid for 3 months of NT after using it for about a week because it drove me nuts. Still debating whether to continue with NT or not.
There are web-based platforms for Futures offered by Thinkorswim, goFutures and quite a good number of Futures brokers. I've used the Onyxweb offered by RCG for SIM-trading.
I'm exited to see that you use SierraChart/TransAct. I use SierraChart for my charting, and TransActAT for my orders/entries placement.

TOS doesnt have a DOM. for futures i have ninja with zenfire feed through mirus, now zen fire has a beta webtrader with a great DOM. u even have a oco and bracket option. sometimes when ninja dom freezes the zen webtrader DOM runs smooth... i have dual login and always the webtrader as a backup to my ninja...
silvester17. you´re refering to the active trader (i have tos aswell). it´s not a real DOM(depth-of-market). all you se is the best bid/ask.
plus if your trading futures you´re paying almost double in commissions than with other brookers. the commission part is one of the most important pieces of the puzzle to consistent profitability...
