When I can I have been trading the Dow futures. However, it looks like I might be working 1st shift in the near future. Are there any currency pairs that are active, outside of the US business hours? I know this is the Forex and Currency forum. If you know of any other markets aside from Forex, I would greatly appreciate hearing about them.

The major pairs are all very active during the London session, especially so during the opening of that session. That would be at 4 a.m. in New York, if I'm not mistaken. Before that is the asian session, which has extremely reduced liquidity and volume.

My best suggestion for pairs would be the YEN-pairs and maybe the AUD-pairs.... Those can be a bit more active than the other pairs during night time.

The japanese or australian indexes ??
