I am looking for a futures broker that charges commissions on a yearly commission basis, for a high volume futures trader for example:

$.25/contract for the first $25,000 in commissions for the year.
$.10/contract for the next $25,000 in commissions for the year.
$.05/contract for after paying $50,000 commissions for the year.

I guess this was the commissions model for floor traders back in the day when there were futures pit trading.

I would appreciate it if someone could recommend any brokers that offer this type of commission.

at those volume levels, almost every broker would be willing to negotiate. IB publishes a tiered model . When last i looked into it, the make break on leasing a seat was around 14-16k/yr in commissions. i think for many of us, we realized that scalping that kind of volume isnt as profitable as developing systems with bigger stops and bigger profits. My first "i'm gonna make it" profitable year i paid about 16k in commissions. Last year i paid 900$ and made quite a bit more money
