Does anyone know of a way to generate orders outside of Tradestation?

I scale into my orders (see below) and it's a royal pain to have to manually type these into the Tradestation custom order bar, plus the odds of human error are great.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance!
GR

GoldenRatio,

I am not sure if you can generate the orders outside of Tradestation like you have in mind, but you could send something into Tradestation (or have Tradestation read something) and then create the orders for you. However I would say that this will likely be very complex especially if you want to pick up some information from a 3rd party software directly.

@ABCTG,

Thanks for the reply!

Would you please elaborate or give me an idea on what to Google for (regarding sending/TS reading.) I am willing to pursue no matter how difficult.

FYI - I hope to use Matlab to create the orders.

GR

GoldenRatio,
You basically answered your own question.
Either look for a DLL to bridge Matlab and Tradestation (there is a commercial one available if I recall correctly) or search about how to get Matlab data into Tradestation. I am pretty sure this has been done before and there might be a solution in the TS forum already.

Had seen something with rtsoft...maybe Google it

I don't use it and have no experience. I came across it while exploring stuff for excel apis.
