Any ideas about an indicator that will alert when price goes through a specific indicator (or vice versa), in this case the adxvma? Otherwise I can create a simple strategy using the wizard, such as an ema Xing but not sure how to use price as a parameter.

You can either modify the code of the Indicator and add custom Alerts.

Syntax:
Alert(string id, Priority priority, string message, string soundLocation, int rearmSeconds, Color backColor, Color foreColor)

Or you can use the standard NT functions e.g. of the Market Analyzer.

I found buried in my list of indicators one called ADXVMA_ Alerts. That seems to be working fine but I will definitely download this one and give it a try. Thanks!
