guys a really off topic question. Am trying to retrieve my browser history for few videos i visited a couple of years back.

i had tried this earlier...but did not succeed. thought there are places with a pc or browser DB which stores such info.

i have however cleared cache/history so many times over the past many years.

the videos are mostly some youtube videos for which i do not have the link. is there a way to go back in time someplace in the pc to understand what were the embedded youtube links i visited or seen when redirected and embedded from a web page.

any thoughts will help.

cheers

If you have a YouTube account AND you was signed into YouTube when you watched the videos, you could log into YouTube and look at your history there. Not sure how far back their history goes...
As far as your browsers history, since you have cleared the cache/history so many times then it's toast. You won't find it there.
Best of Luck!

Thanks all tried and done. Youtube does not maintain history if cleared. My history on pc and other media is always cleared from cache. I was able to recover from various search files or htmls and have 85% of what I need. It's the 15% which I thought of going after.

Problem is the vids were seen a couple of yrs ago and spread across pcs which are now in dormant state. Luckily none of these were SSD. But will check over thanks giving holidays if can get the 15. Else lesson learnt never to delay capture of stuff which I find useful.

Cheers

When your on YouTube and your watching a video that you might like to come back to at some point in time, either save it to your favorites or add it to the "watch later" list. You can make a "Private" favorite list if you like.

Cheers!
