Those indicators don't use the Plot method. Converting them to NT8 would not be hard.

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Search for "RamDisk", I have no lag at all, and I have 25 windows open, with 18 futures that I watch, because all NT files are on RamDisk, not hard drive.
It takes some time to figure out how to set it up. but I have been using it with NT7 for a couple of years. The only problem is that the db folders eventually get too big to fit in the RAM partition. With more RAM you can make a bigger RAM drive and won't have to empty the data folders so often.
SSD will be a lot faster than an HDD, but can't hold a candle to Ramdisk. Main effect would be faster backfill of historical data on charts.
Never had any problems with corruption of NT7. Make sure that you always have backups of Ninjatrader Custom folder and everything therein in case you need to reinstall.
Should not be NECESSARY to use RamDisk to get decent performance.
Are you sure that Windows Search is not indexing your Ninjatrader db and program folders, and that your anti virus and malware software are not scanning those folders?

I had this problem...and I changed to old laptop but with intel dual core at 1.8 mgz with only 2 gb of ram and works perfect...
My new notebook only had one core at 1 mgz and 8 gb of ram and my ninjatrader 7 stuck all the time...
So the CPU is the most important
