Barchart.com Spam Emails

The email asks you to fill out a form to receive an 'annual bonus for your activity.' This email was NOT sent by Barchart,com and you should NOT respond or supply any account information. We have reason to believe that the data base containing your email address and password to the Barchart.com site may have been hacked. No other personal information (such as credit card or banking information) is contained in this data base, but if you wish to change your password, you may do so here: My Barchart - Registration | Forgot Your Username or Password? To protect yourself from phishing scams: • Never reply to an email that asks you to send personal or account information. • If the email claims to come from Barchart and asks for your account information, contact our customer service group to see if the email is legitimate. You can also forward the email to our support group. • Never open any file attached to a suspicious-looking email, as it might contain a virus or other malware.
