Help with Using Tools with sc.UseTool()

Newbie trying to learn how to use Tools with sc.UseTool() ....I have a cpp file using a marker to mark the UnFinishedBusiness, but would like to use the Horizontal Ray tool instead. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks
