I have been looking around and spending more than 30K on systems and soft wares to trade Futures, but It was not helpful, Still can not find any system or method with a profitable result, So I want to ask for the members opinion about this and see anyone has any suggestion about a room or method?
So I appreciate if you please help me and share your experience about any system or method that I can use?
Just my 2cents, as a beginner I'd stay away from ES and CL (what you say are your favorite instruments). Both are no places for beginners. Particularly CL can be a mad dog if you haven't watched it for a very long time.
Personally I'd remove any indicators that you have, learn to draw proper s/r, and learn to read the market you are trading. It's all a matter of putting in the hours and applying yourself and your trade plan.
I've never done any of this but have been thinking about it for around 20 years. Now I finally want to at least try it out but don't know how to get started. I'd like something to be involved with like day trading or something but …
@masoud, most banks and hedgefunds spend millions in R&D and the top of the line systems, so the likelihood of even investing $100k to randomly find a profitable system is probably not going to happen.
Start with the foundations and getting your priorities straight. Become really good at managing risks. Know the bath behind risk management. Get so good at it, that your defense becomes offense, i.e. that you can take a random trade and squeeze out positive expectancy because of the quality of your risk management.
MacroNinja, Your first Sentence totally make sense I have never thought about it that way. However I am not looking for perfect system which I now it doesn't exist, something that you can invest your time on it. Thanks for the answer.
Since you trade ES do you follow futurestrader71? Go through his webinars on here and check out his youtube channel if you haven't already. Alot of solid advice for new traders. If you like his style join his firm so you can gain access to his room.
As @dakine mentioned there is a whole bunch of great of information here on future.io
Best of all: it is nearly FREE!
Investment of the FIO membership is the longtime method for exchanging good advice for trading.
Which you obviously already have done.
Go to the webinar section and watch the great sessions done with some honored FIO members -
most done by Big Mike as moderator.
First they are very informative and some are really encouraging and motivating.
Don't pay for a "room" where you will not find free money but pay a fortune. Nor pay for expensive
webinars or courses. In the long run you need to find your own trading style and make a stringent
trading plan with good money management (means to find out when NOT to trade).
