I just want to get access to historical minute data for global stocks (more than 5 years if possible). Can anyone be kind enough to advise me what is the type of subscription that I should choose?

Do I have to pay extra to hook it to Ninjatrader or write my own program to extract the historical data?

If you use Ninjatrader than subscribe esignal data access only subscription. You must ask online Esignal support becose they dont offer it on web.

I planned today to subscribe esignal data access only (Ninjatrader 8) and Esignal has incresed futures exchanges fees from 35 to 125 USD for stock exchanges fees are the same 35USD

125 USD futures exchangess fee
2 USD OSE exchange
