Hi all,

I can't get trade station to work on a brand new surface pro 4. I also can not get it to connect on 2 other machines that I upgraded to windows 10. When I launch trade station, it asks me for my login and password and it shows all my charts except that "Trading" is RED and my account does not get loaded. Data is fine and is GREEN

I have tried adding 11000,11001, 11020 TCP ports for both inbound and outbound connections. No luck

I also turned off windows firewall completely. No luck.

I have not made any changes to my router. Just before the upgrade the 2 other machines was connecting just fine.

Thank you in advance for your help. Much appreciated.

V

Hi gocanon,

what version of Tradestation are you running? The quote below is from Greg in the Tradestation forum: "TradeStation 9.5 is the only publicly-available version of TradeStation that is being actively tested with Windows 10 and for which any known Windows 10 issues will be addressed. With that said, Windows 10 is not known to introduce any significant issues with TradeStation 9.1, other than the alert pop-up issue mentioned above. "

It appears that you can login fine and the account is not just not loaded - so it doesn't necessarily have to do anything with your machine at all. Can you get the account to load on the 2 other machines at the moment?

All in all you might be able to get more help with this specific question in the official Tradestation forum as it's actively monitored by the TS staff, who might have an idea about what might be going on.

Regards,

ABCTG

I was using Trade Station 9.5. After about 90 minutes on the phone with TS support (an incredible and ultra patient Jackie) I realized there was an error message <disconnected> invalid user name passwd. Jackie reset my account to have a new user name and password and it is working on my windows 10 running inside parallels on my mac. During the debugging I put my surface pro 4 into safe mode but now cant get it back. That is a problem for tomorrow.

the login error message appears about 1 inch below the top of the screen on the left side.

thanks everyone

V
