Looking for more clarity for who is in control, bulls or bears

Hello,
Ive been trading the es and ym for a few years, and have not been able to trade profitably. I use the 3 min chart, trading pullbacks. I use stoc (3,14,3) and the 10 & 20 EMA. However, I want to stop using those, and start trading just using the chart. I am really good at following my rules and don't take any other trades except for the pullback. I want to master one setup at a time. Whenever I take a trade, I always feel really blind to who is in control.

I am looking to find just a little bit more clarity or what is going on with who is participating in the market. I am learning to read order flow with jigsaw tools. So I am looking to learn to read the chart better. I am gravitating towards learning more about price action. It seems that Al Brooks is well respected on this site. Are there any other that are just as good or better at explaining price action? Or is there something other than price action I should be looking at, for better clarity?
