Hi
I have 2 PC running TradeStation,
first i7 4790 16GB RAM
second i5 2500 8GB RAM
running same graphs and strategy.

two used 45% of the ram. the first 7GB and the second 3GB. There is a limitation that i can remove?
The TS is the only thing i run one the PC, so no need much ram for OS and other..

and the other Q, What is the best OS you think that be good for trading with TS? now running WIN 10Pro

Thanks
Matan

Win 10 uses memory differently and you may see higher usage, but this isn't a bad thing. Do you have the 64bit edition of Win10 ? It would be faster than 32 bit. TradeStation is only 32 bit, bummer.

Those look like good specs, usages to me. Are you having any issues ?

Thank you, I'm using 64bit, after some simulations, the system might fail and screen frozen. And then all data lost..
And want to know if the system can use more memory to faster simulation.
If I'll go to 32gb?

It seems TS memory management is not perfect and had issues in some cases. I had a client were we kept adding more RAM and it was never enough. We ended the experiment with 32 GB and it was not enough.
I have another example of a TS client where we can easily see there is a memory leak somewhere: the RAM usage keeps rising until there is no more RAM and restarting TS is the only option (12 GB on this server):
