Hi All,

What is the typical volume impact on Crude on days like Veterans Day due to the holiday? Columbus Day was below average at best...

Any input from experience would be appreciated.

There's two types of Holiday in the US, one's that nearly everybody gets (New Year, Good Friday, Memorial, Independence, Labor, Thanksgiving, Christmas) and others that some people get and others don't (President's, MLK, Thanksgving Friday, Columbus, Veteran's).

As a rule, if it's a US Holiday, but not a UK Holiday, volume will be lower but reasonable liquidity remains. Volume on the Holidays everybody gets will be lower than ones only some people get.

If it's a US Holiday AND a UK Holiday, volume is pitiful.

(Think Brent!)
