I have noticed some forecasting services tend to use currencies with trend line and fork analysis.

I think it seems to work better than Emini from what I have seen.

Can anyone confirm this and if so why?

Works best on commodities in general. Or single stocks. Index based, your dealing with allot more varibles. That maybe why.

The fork is basically support resistance and 50% level on a trend instead of sideways movement. It is one of many tools used as a guide of value. In this context, it is a good tool, but not for anything else like giving you buy/sell signals.
