Adding amaSuperTrendU11 to custom strategy - compile error
The SuperTrend strategy by itself is not profitable. It makes money during a trending market, but gives that money back during a range bound market.
Also the SuperTrend is not an ideal candidate for entry timinig, as it triggers entry signals rather late. I have only used it as a trend filter and/or for exit timing.
Even though this is a bit off the topic, is it possible to revise the SuperTrendU11 code to expose more data, such as Bullish Upclose/Downclose or Bearish Upclose/DownClose, to Bloodhound?
The SuperTrendU11 exposes the trend information as a public Series<double>. Trend[0] = +1 stands for a bullish trend, while Trend[0] = -1 stands for a bearish trend. This information can be directly accessed via Bloodhound.
For the information upclose / downclose you do not need the SuperTrendU11, as you may check this directly within Bloodhound.
