Looking for a reliable broker with affordable pricing. Currently paper-trade with NT8, but 1K price to get their cheapest prices is burdensome. Looking to trade 4-8 contracts on /ES minis with hopes to raise to 100. No withdrawals fees or problems is a must (checks deposits and withdrawals are preferred). Either convince me to stay with NT8 or recommend something better. Thank you much and successful trades to everyone!
EDITs:
- Of course, I will start with 1 contract.
- Also considering: TastyWroks, Tradovate, and Zumo. Open to other suggestions.
- As I read more about Tradovate, their maximum deposit amount by ACH is $5,000.00.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
You say you are a beginner and you want to start trading 4-8 contracts. Do you really think this is a good idea? I guess your account-size will be small, so I would say start trading 1 contract and use the lease version of NT.
If you want to trade 100 contracts, your account-size should be 500k or larger.
Friend, of course, I will start with 1 contract. Even when I grow to trade 4-8 and more contracts, I am planning to have the first trade of every day with 1 contract only. I brought up these numbers so that people have an idea what kind of broker I would like to have so that I do not have to change horses in the middle of the race.
I hear your suggestion to stay with NT. I am also considering TastyWroks, tradovate, and Zumo. Have you had any experience with any of them? What is your preferred broker?
They are Chicago based, why do you think for EU and 'China only?
I work with them 10+ years and never had a problem and you have your personal broker (who responds within minutes if you email him or you can call him).
