I just started trading futures after 10 yrs of stocks. I use thinkorswim but was wondering what other traders use for scakping the emini ( I do 3 scalps per day at most now). Any suggestions for low cost but respectable broker ??????

To not be biased, you want to find a broker who provides reliable platforms. Also provides diversity within their platforms, low day trading margins, competitive commissions etc. You also want to find a broker with a good reputation in the industry. It's all about doing your research. TD Ameritrade (Thinkorswim broker) is very good. Currently I trade with Amp Futures. RT commisions I pay $4.10, that's including all fees with the exception of data. Since I mainly trade indicies, my data is $5 a month. Amp has a lot of platforms for you to checkout also. I currently use MT5 but there are other platforms out there with more to offer. MT5 is kinda limited b/c many assume its mainly a forex platform, but for me, I like the ability to have the app on my phone as a backup to my trading platform. I'm sure others have this capability also, but as for now, I'm testing out MT5.
(Fee breakdown per RT: CME exchange fees - $2.36 NFA fees - .04
clearing fee $1.00 CQG TRF fee - 0.20 for a total of $3.60 per RT, so the commissions make up the difference of $$4.10 minus $3.60 in fees which is 0.50 per RT OR 0.25 per side. NO special rate for volume or acct size, this fee table is standard if you trade less than 2000 contracts per month)
