Most retail tape readers I have seen are so basic (being generous) either just measuring the speed of the tape or some type of up tick down tick measurement. Finally created a tape reader with 7 different algorithims for intra-day trading.. Though, I admit I have only found 3 -4 useful for diection and timing, but the other 3 have cool data!
Here's a few pics, I've had this code done for about a week now and I love it!!

The other one I am liking is market orders for support and resistance areas.
