Ninjatrader will send the trades to a broker, the broker will send the trades to the exchange
many brokers have other applicaitons (not sofisticated) that allow you to go in and close...
The answer to you question is what do you want to do exactly ?
I have a flaky internet connection that I can't really do anything about.. sometimes it can stop working for a few minutes when a trade is active. Not every day, but still that is enough to do serious damage.
I would like to be able to close the trade. I could run another NT version on laptop on a sim card, however I would prefer to just use a mobile app.
I know you can set a stop loss, however, in reality I can't set my stop losses as tight the way I trade... I would call them hard stops.. to prevent catastrophe... but if a trade is going the wrong way for me, usually I know when to get earlier than that - and that is why I would like to be able to close the trade on a backup device.
Assuming your account is with NinjaTrader Brokerage, contact Brokerage Support and ask to allow you to use the CQG Mobile app that is available.
