Hello All,

This may be a stupid question, but is there a simple way for tradestation to move my ISL to breakeven when a certain price is hit?

I have been testing the breakeven automated strategy in SIM and am having no luck.

There must be a simpler way.

can you post the code of the "breakeven automated strategy" you have been using, the inputs and a screenshot of the situation where your exit should have triggered, but didn't?

Hi ABCTG,

Here's the code. I am setting PositionBasis as True and the floor amount as 25. Then I am opening a market order with a 10 point stop on ES. I was operating under the assumption that at the point that my position reaches $25 in profit, it should move the stop to breakeven. But it isn't.

The attached screenshot is where I am expecting the stop to move breakeven. Let me know what I am missing here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you are trying to mix manual entries and strategy exits. For a strategy to be able to recognize an open manual position it would have to made aware of it first.
