TS users, do you know of a way to save tick data (eg locally on personal computer) for future backtesting, etc. from TS? Thanks a lot,

kirahvi,

Tradestation saves historical data on your hard disk and will delete it from the Cache files after X days depending on your settings (via File - Preferences - TradeStation Network on the Cache tab).
To manually store the data you can for example use the data window or create studies that write the charted data to files.
Saving (Exporting) the Data Window as a ASCII Data File

Regards,

ABCTG

You might need to use some external plugin from 3rd party vendors for doing this.
