Hi

How can I get the daily/weekly historical data on continous contracts to go all the way back to the first time they were traded. i.e for emini 1997. I only get 10 years of data at the moment with Rithmic. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi. See if this works for you..

Connect to "Kinetick EOD (free)
Open a new chart, and enter symbol ES ##-## for example
Set the interval to Day (or Week)
Set the number of days or bars to load to a large number, say 10000

I'm getting as far back as 1997 for ES, and 2002 for YM.

Use "##-##" for continuous contracts.
