did anyone get the experience that an order regarding buying !! short term ( 2 days) out-of -money calls /puts was

rejected b/c of " illiquid contract" ???

eg: long CAD futures put, exp 6th March , strike 7425

CQG desktop display tells me : Volume and open interest and a tight b/a !

No, that never happened to me. Although I sold a lot of options in recent years. But I have to add, that I usually check volume and open interest.

Which is your broker ?

OI and Volume (CAD currency futures options weekly) not really high but quite ok.

did synth. Futures in the pork belly pit 20 y ago , had no problems with really illiquid stuff!!

Was your account illiquid, as not having enough money in the account to cover the trade?
