So I'm new to TOS and trading in general, and right now all I want to do is set up a SMA line that has an aggregation period of less than a day. It works for a day, but not four hours. I don't know how I can fix it, I'm following a tutorial to the t and it's not working.

Not really sure what you are asking. Did you want to have SMA from other time periods showing on chart? Example show 4 hr SMA on 30 min chart?
