Hi i am with a futures brokerage firm that has reduced margin at night as long as by 5pm you have enought to cover the full contract cost . Do you know if ninja trader brokers does that also or after 6 pm its full cost of the contract till 9 th enext morning .
NinjaTrader Brokerage historically has applied day-trading margins (https://ninjatrader.com/pricing/margins/) for both regular trading hours and overnight. Exchange rules require full margin for positions held into the market close, but once it re-opens, we require the reduced day-trading margin again during the night session. However, in rare cases of extreme volatility, please be aware that margin requirements are subject to change.
