Hey guys.
Long story short. Whats the most important part of the trading computer. CPU? I've noticed that my i7 5820k can get really hot with high volume stocks and it causes platform to freeze. I run tradestation and thinkorswim on multiple screens with many charts. Also youtube streams, browser tabs etc. Is there a CPU that could handle that well? I heard AMD ryzen 9 3950x is a monster. Any tricks, tips, hardware recommendations what to do/get?

Take a look at this thread, which has a lot of recent discussion on these types of hardware issues:

I suggest you post your question in that thread, if you don't think it's already been answered there.

I'm closing this thread, not because there's anything wrong with it (there's not), but to prevent splitting the topic off into another thread. It's always better to keep related posts together.

FYI, you will be able to find these existing threads through the Search box in the upper right corner of every page, and it's a good idea to check first.

Bob.
