So Monday while trading the micro nasdaq futures without a stop my postion was closed out by the brokerage due to margin. I assumed it was Phillips who I opened an account with via NinjaTrader but then I get an email from NinjaTrader Brokerage regarding the closure due to margin. Now I'm thinking it's their servers my strategies are running on and they see my stops and during periods of so called extreme volatility when the stops are hit and price then goes the other way it's not the market auction?

Which one is better ninjatrader or zulutrade. I want to invest some money and follow other traders.

Lol, your broker has nothing to do with your trades (of course he has to watch of you have enough money), but all your trades go directly thru the exchange. The scenario you are talking about can/will happen if you are trading Forex, but not if you are trading futures.

Agree with @tr8er ... all your trades go directly thru the exchange. The scenario you are talking about can/will happen if you are trading cash/spot Forex, but not if you are trading futures.
