Looking at some charts today, I see that Amazon Call options trade in $10 increments for the strike (2900, 2910, 2920 etc), but then at a certain point it switches to $5 increments (2955, 2960, 2965).

I see this with other stocks well with other increments. How is it determined? Is there set thresholds where ranges get bigger/smaller
