Tried to do some stats, but zero concentration. Then cruised around in my car and went for a run in the woods.
It is by far the toughest thing ever that I'm realizing step by step. I lived my entire life in a bubble produced by my dysfunctional family.
I am so unbelievably greatful that I see this now. I feel like I get a second chance for my life and can walk away from all those lies, this hate and jealousy.
I deserve a good life and I won't no longer accept what they are doing!
Seems I not just need a trading-plan, but also an escape-plan!
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Back to the roots. I gotta keep going!
I specifically took this trade, because we had 3 different sized highs to break. I'll try to get more specific and NOT try to catch every move!
Will leave this one in overnight. Stop already in safe-zone.
Based on your trades, I think if you were to focus more on entering a long trade at a higher low then a higher high, you'd have better success with your long positions.
The market goes back and forth testing numbers, but more importantly previous numbers, if you were to enter on higher low you'd be along for the ride to test the pervious high and possibly be along for the higher high. Where as if your just in the trade when it attempts to make a higher high that feels less likely than just a retest.
I understand what you mean, but I just don't feel ready to do that yet.
I also thought about when my positions get larger and it works commissionwise, to split up my position and enter into pieces into the pullback with limitorders and depending on where it reverses, get the rest in via stop-orders.
But I gotta develop a better feel for my current approach before I start to try to optimize it.
Emotional rollercoaster at the moment!
I think I tended to see my family as either saints or complete devils, but the truth is probably to be found somewhere in the middle.
A huge and important thing for me is, to develop way stronger boundaries against those type of people that try to drain me emotionally. No pardon anymore. I do my thing and whoever tries to bring disorder into my life, I push away! Not in an "You're the devil"-way, but strong enough that they understand that they have to keep distance!
This was a Prom-Queen/coming from below situation, but I'm unsure if I should look for that setup in more markets, or if I should just sit and wait for it occuring in the MES. And if that means doing only one trade a week, than that's what it means.....

Those 2 charts look very similar and they are both "Resources" companies. So hopefully no unwanted correlation between them.
