Added to my longs at 37.

Price seems to be struggling below vwap but still in the vpoc area.

I have to give this trade a bit more room to work and that may mean VAL 17. If we make new LOD, then it's a double risk and that's the price I have to pay if want hefty profit

Still long. 25 initial entry (not 20 as I mentioned above) and then scale in 37.

Price beginning to move in my favour now but it's still big balanced profile with no clear winner.

Though I can think of 17 reasons to book some profits and scale out, I will try as hard as possible to carry my positions all the way till EOD.

My original target was 3800 which is more than 50 pts away. Though it looks very unlikely today, it's still within 5 day ATR. So anything is possible. Obviously that includes new LOD and 3650

Covered 1/2 my long @ 47.

I'm quite proud that I was able to deliberately restrain in selling them above 50 VAH. Yes, I gave up some paper profit but I put myself in a potentially profitable situation if we run upto 3800.

I considered going flat into close but the puzzling VIX movement made me carry over. i.e SPX/ES down with VIX down.

Stats favor gap up open tomorrow and I thought a firm low was made today. Hence I'm taking the risk of overnight long but my theory is wrong if today's low is taken out during tomorrow RTH.

Profitable day but not by much. My expectation of trend UP day didn't happen. However Im glad that I was betting on the winning side. i.e Buyers and also pressed on my winning position.

Friday Nov 4 Prep

Stats are bearish for NFP days in this market condition.

Limit short @ 62. Price is 15 pts down right now but hoping to get a fill during the data release whipsaw!

I'm not chasing the price yet. If Y-L is taken out, then will consider more aggressive shorting.

I don't think I will consider long today as seasonal factor is also not supportive for friday but will have to assess the Price action during the opening swing. Though 3800 can still attract price, 3700 seems more likely to me.

Short 60.

So far wrong but I don't see a reason to go long yet. However, opening above Y-H was clearly a bullish sign and somewhat surprised but shouldn't be.

May let my short stay till EOD without messing around and will take the loss, whatever it may be. Volume is good and hence Trend or reversal day is still a possibility. In that case, I may scale in.

Where did the selling volume come from?

Didn't expect the gap to be filled so quickly. Not complaining

Very little bounce and hence no good spot to scale in. Yet.

Closed my short way too early. 10 pts loss.

My homework was not done properly and got my bias messed up. NFP opening time kinda screwed things up. My stats are based on RTH open and the gap size.

I did try to catch the bottom but quickly realised my old pattern and got out.

Price action was 'pacey' and I wasn't reading it well.

Need to read about VIX and IV this weekend. Strange things happened for the last few days.

Mostly lacklustre week for me except for the jackpot on Fed day.



My equity curve is sluggishly moving up. I'm trying to press my size up and hopefully turbo charge my returns in 2023.



The actual P&L is pretty lame but this is me just warming up (for few years now). Since I changed my job to part-time this year, I'm having more screen time and also more off-screen research time. My goal is to steadily size up as my confidence in my system improves with better execution. My goal is to potentially trade upto 8 to 10 MES contracts in 2023 and then graduate to Emini.

Nov 7 Prep.

My stats favor longs today.

My entry point is likely to be Y-C area of 3775. My target area is 3850.

If price don't go down to Y-C, then I am not sure whether I want to chase the price as the price action is likely to be range bound and narrow before Friday CPI.
