This one I have been in and out of profits over the last 3 weeks but primarily at break even. I have months of time still but I am getting greedy. I am in slight profits here and overall now since starting my swing trades back in June instead of scalping daily due to my number of appointments outside of trading.

I'm happy trading this way but it is not my fortay. Sure I made some money but scalping I would have made 5x what I am out now assuming the mkt played out as it has been.

I also had to weather almost an 11 to 13k drawdown as I waited for my profits to show up.


I will tell you that each unit of my exotics is made up of 6 options in various exp dates strikes and underlying. It takes years of watching and trading them in order to start to understand how they work. It also takes a lot of patience and money.

A 10 unit trade costs roughly 60x 4 or 240 dollars so a considerable amount and then slippage on 60 positions that adds up. Anyway I won't be posting too many more of my exotic options trades but I'm very glad they worked out.

As u can see the structure of my initial exotic options units was similar to my most recent but also different because I used different strikes and expirations and w different underlying in one of the calculations

And lastly maybe I just got lucky..doubtful but maybe

I'm up roughly 250 x3 or 750 and holding.

This is a perfect chart of exotic combinations. This is an exotic layered over another exotic! Yes it is very consistent. It cannot be profitable traded die to feed and commissions and slippage. You actually get a net negative edge or expectancy if actually traded. An hft could trade this if it was a member and cleared and did enough volume to get even more reductions from the exchange.

It's beautiful isn't it!! No way to trade this though..trust me I tried.

My recent 3 unit exotics hit a high of 21343 overnight and I had no take profit limit orders.

I have 2 still. That put me at a 1198 profit.

However I wasn't up when it happened.

Now the exotic turned massively down last night!

It's at 20,600 which puts me at negative 300 dollars!

All in a 3 hour period!
