1 MGC = 10oz of Gold = $18000 Notional
8 MBT = 0.8 Bitcoin = $18800 Notional

Just to confirm there isn't a listed BTC-Gold contract. What I'm saying is that if you bought 8 MBT contracts and sold 1 MGC contract then your positions would be

Long 0.8 Bitcoin
Short 10oz Gold
Long $800

Hence why I said it was a messy way of achieving your goal

Why complicated? You can bring in your gold, cash or other assets to a broker. Then you trade the btc and other as you like. No hassle. btc has sometimes very high vola, gold doesn't - which means a good pair to handle.
