a friend just noticed that the first ES bar tonight was 22:52 on his machine, mine is 22:54 (we are both on eastern time and my vps is parked next to the exchange). How is it possible they are different, and not the right starting time? We are using NT8 (im on 27.0). I have quite a few bots running (sim this week), anybody else notice this or have an explanation?

It is likely a data feed issue. It has probably been reported to NinjaTrader. You might want to check their support forum.
