Hello Traders,

I'm new here and putting in the daily work in learning.
Can any experienced futures trader that understands
Orderflow, explain in simple terms, what's the Difference between
support resistance levels VS Obsorbtion levels used in orderflow?

Cheers

The "standard" SR levels are calculated with a known formula back from the PIT trading days that look at high/low/close levels over a certain periods.

The order flow levels use actual volume at different levels to show where sell orders are being filled and "absorbed" and same with buy orders on the flip side, hence creating "volume adjusted support/ resistance levels"
