When I create a new thread or edit an existing message I cannot CTRL+V to paste an image I have on my clipboard into the message. I have to click the manage attachments button and launch that popup to locate the file then upload (which required me to save the image in the 1st place_

However, if I am just creating a new reply to a thread then I can CTRL+V from clipboard and the image is uploaded and added to the post. Can this functionality be added when creating new threads or editing old messages? I often take screenshots (i use greenshot) and have the screenshot go directly to clipboard without saving it, so being able to paste it into the message would be very convenient

I've spent hours trying to solve it but for *reasons* it's incredibly difficult. The core of the site never supported such a feature, it was entirely of my creation.

I even tried ChatGPT but it got lost as well. I may try again with the newer versions. It's on my list...
